Help for NC Florence Flooding

I suppose most people who read this are related to me..... so they remember that I'm originally from NC.
But on the off chance that someone has forgotten (or yikes, never knew), I'm from NC.  I've been watching news updates because I have lived through Hurricane Hugo (1989) and I can only imagine now as a parent the anxiety the families must feel if they have lost everything and still need to provide for their families.

In 1989, I received a generator for my birthday.  I still ask my parents, "how is MY generator doing?"

For my birthday this year, I'd like to do make sure I help out NC as much as possible
