So, here's some fun updates for those who follow our family. Here is Alexis at OT tonight crawling through a tunnel. This is HUGE. It means she's space aware enough with her crawling to know how to maneuver obstacles (she hates the wires under her hands). It's really awesome to see. She did a fabulous job!
And then when I got home, Jessica was showing the world (our world) how cute she is. This was Alexis' school picture dress that Alexis brought home today after school, then OT, then home finally - and Jessica insisted on trying the dress on. She looks cute in it too! I will always be biased.

So proud of my kiddos. By the way, the doctor appointment that Alexis had was her ~9-12 month check up with her ENT. For kids like Alexis, a visit to the ENT could be very challenging - but Alexis just giggled and giggled and had a great time. She was so happy to see Dr Volk, he was so pleased with her growth. At some point Alexis will need her right-sided choanal atresia (blocked nostril) repaired. So far, he's let us drive scheduling this - it has the potential to reduce her CPAP needs (but not entirely) and make her swallowing process easier. But there are no guarantees and we know others who have only one blocked nostril and never have had it repaired. We will see where the future takes us, but for now she had a great visit with Dr Volk.
